Cherokee CFO steps down; successor named

California-based apparel and luxury goods retailer Cherokee Inc. said Dec. 18 that Jason Boling will step down as CFO, effective Jan. 31, 2018.

Steven Brink will take over the role, effective Jan. 2, 2018.

Boling and his team played a key role in a number of the company's acquisitions, including Hawk Designs Inc., Flip Flop Shops Inc., Everyday California and the Hi-Tec brand portfolio, according to the release.

Brink, who previously held leadership roles in apparel companies such as Quiksilver Inc. and NYDJ Apparel LLC, will oversee Cherokee Global Brands' financial functions including accounting, forecasting and investor relations. He will report directly to CEO Henry Stupp.
