California-based apparel and luxury goods retailer Cherokee Inc. said Dec. 18 that Jason Boling will step down as CFO, effective Jan. 31, 2018.

Steven Brink will take over the role, effective Jan. 2, 2018.

Boling and his team played a key role in a number of the company's acquisitions, including Hawk Designs Inc., Flip Flop Shops Inc., Everyday California and the Hi-Tec brand portfolio, according to the release.
