Northam Platinum Ltd. entered into a five-year settlement agreement with the Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union at its Booysendal platinum operations in South Africa.

The settlement is effective from July 1 and includes an increase in all major components of remuneration, according to a Dec. 13 news release.
