TelenorASA's Myanmar unithas launched its 4G service in the country's capital city of Nay Pyi Taw, MobileWorld Live reported July 7. This comes after it the high-speed service in fivecities across Myanmar.
The telco is also testing its high-speed service in othercities, but would need more spectrum to roll out 4G nationwide, the reportsaid, citing outgoing CEO Petter Furberg.
Furberg is being replaced as CEO by current CFO Lars Erik Tellmann, whileFurberg will move to a new role with Telenor Digital Businesses in Asia.According to Mobile World Live, the change will take effect Aug. 1.
