Sirius Real Estate chairman to resign

Neil Sachdev, chairman of the board at Sirius Real Estate Ltd., will step down from his role in December.

Before his current post, Sachdev served as a nonexecutive director at the company. Sirius Real Estate has begun its search for Sachdev's replacement.

Meanwhile, Jill May was named an independent nonexecutive director at the company. May is a nonexecutive director at JP Morgan Claverhouse Investment Trust plc, Ruffer Investment Co. and the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

In its earnings release for the six months ended Sept. 30, the company also announced an interim dividend of 1.56 euro cents per share, up 12.2% year over year from the payout of 1.39 cents per share for the year-ago period. The dividend will be paid Jan. 19, 2018, to shareholders on record as of Dec. 14.
