Total SA announced on May 9 that it has signed an agreement to sell its retail business in Haiti to Bandari Corporation Ltd., a consortium formed by several local and regional parties.
Total's retail business in the country consists of a network of 92 service stations and general trade fuel sales operations.
Isabelle Gaildraud, senior vice president of Americas at Total Marketing & Services, said the transaction aligned with the company's strategy of streamlining its asset portfolio in the Caribbean and that they will remain present in the country through a lubricants distribution agreement.
