Qiagen NV said it will transfer the U.S. listing of its global shares to the NYSE from the Nasdaq Global Market.
The transfer is expected to be effective Jan. 10, 2018, still using ticker QGEN, and until then shares will continue trading on the Nasdaq.
The Dutch life sciences company said the transfer will not impact its global shares trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol QIA.
Company CFO Roland Sackers said in the news release that the change will give Qiagen "greater visibility" within the healthcare sector and expand its global shareholder base.
