Garda Capital Group elected Morgan Parker as a nonexecutive independent director, effective Dec. 13.

In addition, Parker will join the company's audit and risk committee, and its nomination and remuneration committee.

Parker is the COO of Dubai Holding, which developed a new city center in the United Arab Emirates city. He is also a nonexecutive director at public company SunCentral, which is developing the Maroochydore City Centre in Sunshine Coast in the Australian state of Queensland, according to a release.
