In Nebraska, Cornerstone Bank buying Iowa-Nebraska State Bank's branch in Wilcox

In Nebraska, York-based Cornerstone Bank ($1.45 billion as of Dec. 31, 2015),intends to buy Iowa-NebraskaState Bank's branch in Wilcox, Neb., and assume $19 million in depositsand $10 million in loans, the OmahaWorld-Herald reported April 27.

The deal, which is subject to regulatory and shareholderapprovals, is expected to be completed in the third quarter, according to thereport.

Cornerstone Bank is a subsidiary of South Sioux City,Neb.-based Iowa-Nebraska State Bank ($213.1 million) is a subsidiary ofCommfirst BanCorp. Inc.
