'Personal reasons' prompt Shore Bancshares CFO to resign

George Rapp has resigned as vice president and CFO of Easton,Md.-based Shore Bancshares Inc., according to a Form 8-K filed May 4.

Rapp, whose resignation was effective May 3, stepped down for"personal reasons in order to spend more time with his family," the companystated in the filing. The resignation is not due to any disagreement or disputewith the company.

Taking over CFO duties is Edward Allen, who serves as presidentand CEO at the company's unit, Centreville, Md.-based CNB.
