QMX to conduct 23,000-meter drilling at Val d'Or gold project in Quebec

QMX Gold Corp. said Feb. 22 that it will undertake an approximately 23,000-meter drilling program at the Val d'Or gold project in Quebec, targeting the Val d'Or East portion of the project accessible only during the winter months.

A 12,000-meter diamond drilling program will be conducted at the Bonnefond South target, aiming to complete both infill drilling and exploration to identify potential extensions to the east of existing gold mineralization.

An 8,500-meter drilling campaign at the Bevcon Intrusive target, located west of the historic Bevcon and Buffadison gold mines, will test multiple target areas based on prior shallow drilling. Meanwhile, a 2,500-meter reconnaissance drilling program is in progress at the New Louvre target.
