Japan's seasonally adjusted industrial production rose 2.2% month over month in June, after slipping 3.6% in May, revised data from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry showed Aug. 15.
On a yearly basis, the original index was up 5.5% in the month.
Inventories and inventory ratio declined 2.0% and 1.9%, respectively, month over month, while shipments rose 2.5%.
Operating ratio was up 2.1% from May, after seasonal adjustments.
