Anap Inc. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended May 31 was a loss of ¥8.80 per share, compared with a loss of ¥12.16 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of ¥37.5 million, compared with a loss of ¥51.9 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin rose to negative 1.9% from negative 2.5% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue decreased 5.0% on an annual basis to ¥1.94 billion from ¥2.04 billion, and total operating expenses decreased 5.6% on an annual basis to ¥2.00 billion from ¥2.12 billion.
Reported net income came to a loss of ¥159.0 million, or a loss of ¥37.32 per share, compared to a loss of ¥93.0 million, or a loss of ¥21.81 per share, in the year-earlier period.
