Bank of America Merrill Lynch named Simon Cahill as managing director in its Dublin office, efinancialcareers.com reported Dec. 17.

Cahill will also be the head of treasury risk and control, chief administrative officer and CFO risk executive. Prior to this role, he was the head of risk control at DEPFA BANK PLC, according to the report.

Bank of America Corp. on Dec. 1 completed the merger of its U.K. banking entity into Dublin-based Bank of America Merrill Lynch International Designated Activity Co., or BAMLI DAC.

BAMLI DAC is now the company's principal European banking entity.
