Scripps-owned networks to launch in Hungary

Starting Jan. 1, 2017, Hungarian telco Invitel will distribute Scripps Networks Interactive Inc.-owned Food Network and Fine Living, on top of already carried Travel Channel, Broadband TV News reported Dec. 20.

Invitel's Extended Basic Tier, or EBT, which reportedly reaches 100,000 users, will carry Food Network. Fine Living will be available on the Pepita and Mixer packages. Both networks will be available with Hungarian dubbing, with Fine Living to be broadcast in standard definition and Food Network in both SD and HD. Travel Channel airs both in SD and HD on Invitel in the EBT.
