Aristocrat Leisure Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended March 31 amounted to 12 Australian cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 17 cents per share.
EPS climbed 41.7% year over year from 9 cents.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was A$77.4 million, a gain of 62.4% from A$47.7 million in the prior-year period.
Total revenue climbed 72.3% year over year to A$699.2 million from A$405.9 million, and total operating expenses increased 66.4% on an annual basis to A$546.0 million from A$328.0 million.
Reported net income increased 22.9% from the prior-year period to A$75.6 million, or 12 cents per share, from A$61.5 million, or 11 cents per share.
