Dallas-based data center landlord CyrusOne Inc. agreed to pay $12 million for a 10% equity stake in Odata Brasil SA and Odata Colombia SAS, which collectively provide data centers in Brazil.
Odata has over 12 megawatts of capacity, and plans to develop over 100 megawatts in Brazil and launch construction in Colombia. Odata is majority owned by a Patria Investments managed fund.
As part of the strategic partnership, the two companies signed a commercial agreement involving leasing activity with CyrusOne customers in the Odata portfolio.
