Kyrgyzstan central bank lowers policy rate to 4.75%

The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic cut its policy rate by 25 basis points to 4.75%.

In announcing the reduction, the bank cited moderate inflation and positive economic growth factors, Reuters reported.

The central bank kept its overnight loan rate at 6.00% and overnight deposit rate at 0.25%. It will announce its next monetary policy decision on June 25.
