Community Bank System unit's chief banking officer to retire

Brian Donahue is retiring as executive vice president and chief banking officer of De Witt, N.Y.-based Community Bank NA.

Donahue's retirement takes effect June 2. However, he will remain until Dec. 31 to ensure a smooth transition of his duties.

Joseph Serbun will take over the majority of Donahue's duties. Serbun serves as senior vice president and chief credit officer.

The bank is a unit of Community Bank System Inc.
