Bernadette Aulestia resigned as president of global distribution of HBO (US) after 22 years with the premium cable network, CNBC reported March 18, citing an internal memo.
Aulestia will stay with HBO for the next few months to help transition the new leadership. She was named executive vice president of global distribution in 2015, overseeing HBO's streaming services, HBO Now and HBO Go.
Aulestia's departure follows several others as new parent AT&T Inc. reorganizes WarnerMedia. Kevin Tsujihara recently stepped down as chairman and CEO of Warner Bros., a division of AT&T, amid an ongoing investigation regarding his personal relationship with actress Charlotte Kirk, while HBO Chairman and CEO Richard Plepler announced in February that he would be leaving the company after nearly 28 years.
