Vodafone, Liberty Global offer Dutch deal concessions to EC

Vodafone GroupPlc and LibertyGlobal plc on July 12 offered concessions to secure EU regulatoryapproval for the proposed merger of their Dutch units.

The European Commission also extended the for its decision on the deal toAug. 3, according to an update on the EC's competition website.

The commission is expected to ask feedback from rivaloperators and other interested parties before ruling on the transaction,Reuters reported July 13.
