Match Group shakes up executive team

Match Group Inc on Aug. 1 announced a new CEO and other top management changes.

Mandy Ginsberg, CEO of Match Group Americas, will become Match Group's new chief executive, effective Jan. 1, 2018.

Ginsberg will succeed Greg Blatt, who will remain chairman and CEO through the end of 2017. Blatt also will stay on as CEO of Tinder until a replacement is named.

IAC/InterActiveCorp CEO Joey Levin will serve as chairman of Match Group's board. Blatt will serve as vice chairman, a nonexecutive position that will encompass his continuing service on the Match Group and Tinder boards, and an ongoing advisory relationship to the Match Group senior executive team.

Meanwhile, Tinder COO Sharmistha Dubey will become president of Match Group, effective January 1, 2018.
