Report: Schroders acquires 25% stake in Dutch direct lending firm

SchrodersPlc said April 4 that it acquired a 25% stake in NEOS BusinessFinance, Reuters reported the same day.

The Dutch direct lending firm operates a platform that givessmall and medium-sized enterprises access to loans from institutional investorsthrough a standardized issuance and loan terms process, Reuters added.

The deal amount was not disclosed, Reuters noted. Under theterms of the transaction, the Dutch firm will provide investment advisoryservices to Schroders for its funds that invest in SME financing.
