Eros makes Malaysia debut in partnership with Maxis, U Mobile

India's ErosInternational Plc has entered the Malaysian market with the launch ofEros Now, the company's over-the-top service.

The Bollywood movie production and distribution company willbe working with Malaysian telco operators MaxisBhd. and U Mobile ServicesSdn. Bhd. with an eye on over 2 million people of Indian origin residingin Malaysia, the company said April 28.

Both prepaid and postpaid customers of the two telco operatorswill have access to Eros Now content, which includes popular Bollywood films, televisionshows, music and originals, for a monthly fee of 10 Malaysian ringgit.

As of April 29, US$1 wasequivalent to 3.91 Malaysian ringgit.
