Discovery Metals Corp. was granted drill permits in Mexico covering its La Kika, Renata, Santa Rosa, La Minerva and Jemi-Rare projects.
The company has option agreements on seven projects in northern Coahuila, located within a past-producing silver-zinc-lead belt.
The projects have never been explored with modern methods, according to an Oct. 12 release.
Discovery President and CEO Taj Singh said the company intends to start drilling on at least one project before the end of the year.
The company is preparing applications for two other projects, Puerto Rico and Monclova.
