GoldON Resources Ltd. signed a definitive agreement to sell its Swayze gold property in northeastern Ontario to IAMGOLD Corp. unit Trelawney Mining & Exploration Inc. for C$300,000.
The transaction would also result in the forgiveness of a C$125,000 promissory note that GoldON issued to Trelawney and the assignment of the latter's 1,170,544 GoldON shares, according to a Sept. 29 release.
In addition, GoldON will receive a further C$800,000 payment from Trelawney if a storage facility or pond of any nature for tailings is built on the property.
The Swayze property is located in the Sudbury district and comprises the Chester, Mollie River and Neville-Potier claim blocks.
Following closing, Trelawney will not own any GoldON shares.
