Nutri Dar Co. Q3 profit climbs 35.9% YOY

Nutri Dar Co. said its third-quarter normalized net income was 3 Jordanian fils per share, an increase of 38.1% from 2 fils per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 265,900 dinars, an increase of 35.9% from 195,650 dinars in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 8.3% from 7.6% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 36.3% year over year to 3.5 million dinars from 2.6 million dinars, and total operating expenses increased 32.5% year over year to 3.0 million dinars from 2.3 million dinars.

Reported net income grew 30.3% on an annual basis to 400,360 dinars, or 5 fils per share, from 307,270 dinars, or 3 fils per share.

As of Oct. 31, US$1 was equivalent to 71 Jordanian fils.
