Cypress DevelopmentCorp. said April 5 that it is kicking off phase-two exploration at itsClayton Valley lithium project in Nevada, which it acquired in January.
Cypress will undertake a surface sampling program covering morethan 100 sample sites. The second-phase program will define a continuously mineralizedvolume of claystone at surface on several portions of the property.
A January rock chip sampling program also indicated near-surfacelithium mineralization.
Cypress Development has applied for a notice of work permit fromthe Nevada Bureau of Land Management for a planned phase-three exploration and drillprogram at the project.
The company has also acquired via staking two additional claimsin the Clayton Valley, adding 40 acres to its land package.
