Ardian brings in $2.5B for 5th co-investment fund

Ardian pulled in $2.5 billion for its fifth co-investment fund, more than doubling the $1.2 billion raised for its fourth-generation fund in 2015.

More than 190 investors across Europe, the U.S. and Asia, comprising pension funds, insurers, high-net-worth individuals, endowments, foundations and financial institutions, committed to Ardian Co-Investment Fund V.

The private investment house said the fund will make minority investments, alongside general partners, in diverse sectors, geographies and company sizes.
