Enterprise launches open season for West Texas crude oil system expansion

Enterprise Products Partners LP launched a binding open season for expansion capacity on its Enterprise Crude Pipeline LLC West Texas system, which moves crude from the Delaware Basin in New Mexico to Enterprise's Midland, Texas terminal.

The midstream oil and gas company is looking to increase capacity on the system from Enterprise Crude Pipeline's Lynch, Hobbs and Red Hills stations in Lea County, New Mexico, to the Midland terminal, where shippers will have access to multiple storage and terminal services, and transportation alternatives to various markets, including the Gulf Coast.

Service on the expanded system is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2018, according to a May 25 news release.

The binding open season is scheduled to run from May 25 at 5 p.m. ET to June 24 at 6 p.m. ET.
