HPS Investment Partners sells minority stake to Dyal Capital Partners

HPS Investment Partners LLC has sold a passive, nonvoting minority equity stake to Dyal Capital Partners, a unit of Neuberger Berman Holdings LLC.

The terms of the investment were not disclosed.

Dyal Capital's passive minority investment will provide HPS Investment Partners with additional resources to pursue strategic initiatives and continue its significant alignment with clients, the company said. The investment will not affect HPS Investment Partners' day-to-day activity or its investment decision-making process.

Evercore served as financial adviser to HPS Investment Partners. HPS Investment Partners is a unit of HPS Group LP and has more than $45 billion in assets under management.
