RBC unit promotes exec

promotedBruce Ford to regional banking manager for core banking in Nevada, according toa Jan. 15 news release.

Ford, who isa senior vice president, will retain his current responsibility as CityNational's business banking manager for Nevada and in addition will manage thecompany's eight branches in the state.

JohnWilcox, who now manages City National's Nevada region and oversees its corebanking business in San Diego, has announced plans to retire.

Joe McHugh,a senior vice president who joined City National in 2004 and currently leadsall of the company's branch offices in Orange County and California's InlandEmpire, will take over Wilcox's responsibilities in San Diego.

The LosAngeles-based bank is a unit of Royal Bank of Canada.
