Farm Credit Bank credit chief retiring

Kurt Thomas is retiring as senior vice president and chief credit officer of Farm Credit Bank of Texas, effective Dec. 31.

John Sloan, who is the vice president and manager of the bank's association direct lending unit, will succeed Thomas.

Mel Koller, in turn, will take on Sloan's role in the lending unit. Koller is vice president of the bank and relationship manager of the unit.

Austin, Texas-based Farm Credit Bank is a unit of Farm Credit System.
