Equity Commonwealth calls $275M of preferred shares for redemption

Equity Commonwealth'sboard of trustees called for redemption all $275 million of the company's outstanding7.25% series E cumulative redeemable preferred shares.

The company will redeem the shares at a price of $25 apiece,plus any accrued and unpaid dividends, on May 16, the first business day after theMay 15 redemption date.

Upon redemption, the shares will no longer be outstanding andwill be delisted from trading on the NYSE on the redemption date.
