Netflix unveils premiere dates for 3 original series

NetflixInc. unveiled the premiere dates for three original series at apress conference in Paris.

In an April 11 news release, the company said it willpremiere the second season of action adventure series "Marco Polo"globally on July 1. The series will be available in 4K.

The 10-episode series will be created by John Fusco, starsLorenzo Richelmy, Michelle Yeoh, Benedict Wong, Joan Chen, and Olivia Cheng,among others. "Marco Polo" is produced by The Weinstein Co. forNetflix.

Also, the streaming giant said it will globally launchupcoming original series "Marseille" on May 5. The drama series' castincludes Gérard Depardieu, Benoît Magimel, Géraldine Pailhas, Nadia Farès, andStéphane Caillard.

Additionally, the company will premiere new original series"The Crown" on Nov. 4.

"The Crown," which will feature 10 episodes, willfocus on Queen Elizabeth II as a 25-year-old newlywed leading the world's mostfamous monarchy while forging a relationship with Prime Minister, Sir WinstonChurchill. The series will also be available in 4K.
