China Evergrande's September contracted sales decline YOY

China Evergrande Group saw its contracted sales fall in September to 44.35 billion yuan, from the 47.52 billion yuan recorded in the year-ago period, marking two consecutive months of year-over-year decreases.

The contracted sales for the month represented 4,403,000 square meters of sales area, down from the 5,518,000 square meters logged in September 2016. The properties were sold at an average selling price of 10,073 yuan per square meter.

As of Oct. 3, US$1 was equivalent to 6.64 Chinese yuan.
