said April 6 thatit has named Rory Moore as president, CEO and a director, effective May 1.

Moore will replacePatrick Evans, who held the roles of president and CEO since the company's incorporationin 2012.

Moore brings morethan 30 years of diamond experience, having held several executive positions inthe industry.

"Over the pastsix months the Company has advanced the governance separation of Kennady Diamondsfrom its former parent Mountain ProvinceDiamonds Inc. with the appointmentof two new independent directors. The appointment of a new president and CEO whois independent of Mountain Province is the next key step in this process,"Kennady Chairman Jonathan Comerford said.
