Malaysian property developer Malton Bhd. won the bid for the construction of a superstructure above the airport express train station located near the Taipei main train station.

The company originally submitted the bid Oct. 1, along with Nan Hai Corp.

The bid was selected Dec. 27 by the Department of Rapid Transit Systems Taipei City Government.

The two companies expect to reach an investment agreement for the project in March 2019.
