Texas pension fund pledges $150M to Invesco real estate investment vehicle

Teacher Retirement System of Texas pledged $150 million to Invesco US Income Fund, an Invesco Ltd.-managed open-ended, core-plus real estate vehicle, IPE Real Estate reported.

The financing is the second instance of the Texas pension fund placing capital into a core fund managed by Invesco, as it also made a $210 million pledge to the asset manager's Invesco San Jacinto Core Fund.

According to the report, Invesco US Income Fund's commercial interests include office, industrial, retail and residential real estate in major U.S. markets.
