has launched a Cyber Security Institute,or CSI, a cross between an advanced cyber range and educational institute, accordingto an April 26 news release.
CSI is designedto enhance the cybersecurity skills and preparedness of businesses and governmentoffices in the Asia Pacific region. The facility will test and train companies indealing with sophisticated cyberthreats.
CSI can emulatethe environment and operations of enterprises in order to test a company's inherentvulnerabilities, defence and response capabilities. The institute will provide cyberskills development and education programs tailored to the varying needs of companyboards, C-level executives, technology and operational staff.
The telco alsoannounced that it is working with several of Singapore's regulatory bodies, including Infocomm DevelopmentAuthority and Cyber Security Agency of Singapore, to train infocomm technology professionalsin cybersecurity.
