Nielsen Holdings acquired Israel-based technology startup vBrand.
The startup is a developer of a machine learning-enabled platform used to measure brand exposure and impact in sports programming.
Nielsen will integrate vBrand and its technology into Nielsen Sports to increase the speed of Nielsen's flagship sports products Sport24 and Social24. The startup's technology also will allow brands and rights holders to monitor and track ad visibility soon after an event and enable them to make adjustments to digital ads and social campaigns.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
