Dutch Regulator stops T-Mobile from offering data-free music

The Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets ordered Deutsche Telekom AG's T-Mobile Netherlands to stop offering its data-free music service over the alleged violation of Dutch net neutrality regulations.

The regulator on Dec. 23 said it will penalize the company if it continues to offer the service. The penalty payment is €50,000 per day with a maximum of €500,000. Data-free music does not count against the data plans of T-Mobile customers.
