Alstria office REIT acquires more shares in DO Deutsche Office

alstria officeREIT-AG acquired additionalshares in DO Deutsche Office AGthat represented an approximately 1.4% stake in the company.

The REIT acquired 2,530,667 shares in DO Deutsche from thelatter company's former majority shareholders, which are subsidiaries of fundsmanaged by Oaktree Capital Management, according to a release.

Following the acquisition, alstria owns 90.9% of DO Deutsche.

The company issued new shares through a capital increase toserve as consideration for the acquisition of DO Deutsche shares. It grantedOaktree Capital with a consideration of 0.381 new share of alstria for eachshare of DO Deutsche.

The additional stake acquisition is the result of OaktreeCapital's exercise of an option as part of alstria's of DO Deutsche.

The REIT created the new shares by implementing a capitalincrease against contributions in kind worth around €964,182, having partiallyutilized its authorized capital and having excluded shareholders' subscriptionrights.

The company registered the implementation of the capitalincrease in the commercial register on May 3, increasing its registered sharecapital to about €153.1 million from around €152.2 million.
