Bolivian state miner Comibol signed a wage agreement with workers at its Colquiri zinc-tin mine, which includes a 5% increase in salary this year, S&P Global Platts wrote June 8, citing mining Minister Cesar Navarro.
The company is also looking to reach a similar deal with workers at its Huanuni tin mine.
Meanwhile, the company intends to evaluate financing options for its Pacocahua and Negrillos mining projects as well as a gold refinery in the Oruro department.
S&P Global Platts and S&P Global Market Intelligence are both owned by S&P Global Inc.
