Finders ups resource, reserves at Wetar copper project in Indonesia

Finders Resources Ltd.'s proved and probable ore reserves at the Wetar copper project in Indonesia stood at 9.3 million tonnes at 2.1% copper for 196,000 contained tonnes as of Dec. 1, after depletion from copper cathode production of 32,000 tonnes.

The ore reserve for the project, meanwhile, increased by 8,000 contained tonnes following positive reconciliation for the Kali Kuning open pit and by another 17,000 contained tonnes due to the previously announced increase of the Lerokis ore reserve.

The mineral resources at Wetar, as of Dec. 1, stood at 9.6 million tonnes at 2.1% copper for 206,000 contained tonnes after depletion from copper cathode production of 32,000 tonnes, according to the Dec. 22 release.
