National Bankof Greece SA completed the 100% sale of its indirect or direct interests in 11 limitedpartnership funds managed by NBGI PE Ltd. to funds managed by 's Deutsche BankPrivate Equity and Goldman SachsGroup Inc.'s GoldmanSachs Asset Management LP, for an agreed consideration of €288million ($323.7 million).
The transaction, which is part of National Bank of Greece'srestructuring plan, increased the bank's common equity Tier 1 ratio by 23 basispoints.
Greenhill Cogent Europe acted as financial adviser, whileProskauer Rose (UK) served as international legal counsel to the Greek lender.
