Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro on June 14 appointed National Constituent Assembly head Delcy Rodriguez as executive vice president, Reuters reported.

Rodriguez will replace Tareck El Aissami who will become industry and national production minister, Maduro said on Twitter.

Maduro last month won a second term as the nation's president amid claims from rivals that the balloting was marked by widespread irregularities.
