Bristol County Savings promotes 2 execs; Peoples Bank of Alabama names director

Ameris Bancorp appointed Dennis Zember Jr. a director to fill a vacancy on the board.

The appointment took effect July 5, when Zember became president and CEO of the Moultrie, Ga.-based company.

Cullman, Ala.-based Peoples Bank of Alabama appointed Chuck Herndon to its board.

Herndon serves as executive vice president and commercial banking executive at the Altrust Financial Services Inc. unit.

Taunton, Mass.-based Bristol County Savings Bank named Jeffrey Kolarik executive vice president and senior operations officer, the Warwick (R.I.) Post reported.

He joined the Beacon Bancorp unit in 2017 as senior vice president.

The bank also promoted John Silva to executive vice president of commercial lending.
