andLiberty Global plcjointly announced July 19 the proposed appointments of Jeroen Hoencamp as CEOand Ritchy Drost as CFO of the companies' Dutch jointventure, which is currently pending antitrust approval from the EuropeanCommission.
Hoencamp, whois currently the CEO of Vodafone UK will also assume the role of CEO, effectiveSept. 1, in anticipation of the JV closing.
Drostcurrently serves as CFO of Liberty Global unit .
Meanwhile,Ziggo CEO Baptiest Coopmans will remain in his post until the deal iscompleted, after which he will join the supervisory board of the merged entity.
VodafoneNederland CFO Carmen Velthuis will also remain in her post until the merger iscompleted, with her next designation yet to be announced.
Vodafoneand Liberty Global recently submitted concessions to secure EU antitrust approval on theirDutch deal. The EC is expected to release its decision on Aug. 3.
