Cornerstone Bank closes Iowa-Nebraska State Bank branch deal

York, Neb.-based CornerstoneBank completed its acquisitionof Iowa-Nebraska State Bank'sbranch in Wilcox, Neb.

The bank appointed Mike Soneson vice president and manager ofthe Wilcox Branch.

Cornerstone also purchased the insurance agency of the SouthSioux City, Neb.-based bank in Wilcox.

Following the transaction, Cornerstone has 38 banking facilitiesand 15 insurance agencies. Cornerstone Bank, which is a wholly owned subsidiaryof First York Ban Corp.,has total assets of $1.5 billion. Iowa-Nebraska State Bank is a unit of
