Banco de Chiledismissed four senior executives as part of a reorganization following the of Eduardo EbenspergerOrrego as the bank's new CEO.
The departures include Andrés Bucher, the head of ,and Jorge Muñoz, the head of Banchile Citi Global Markets, Diario Financiero reported May 6 citing an internal memo. Division headsArmando Armiño and Christian Schiessle were also dismissed.
In addition to the departures, Banco de Chile also reshuffledits management structure within several business lines. Joaquín Contardo will headthe bank's people and branches division, while Rodrigo Tonda will lead its marketingand customer segment. Additionally, Juan Alberdi will remain as the bank's headof investment and private banking operations and Marcos Frontaura, who continuesto lead wholesale banking, will now report directly to Ebensperger.
The move comes less than a week since Ebensperger took over asCEO on April 30, following the abruptresignation of Arturo Tagle Quiroz.
